Jayne Luccarelli-Merla, owner of Westchester Bodyworks Massage Therapy PLLC is a Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist with advanced training in Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. With an intuitive touch and infectious smile(hopefully you get to see it without a mask), Jayne has been improving the quality of wellness in her clients for over 9 years. Jayne’s great respect for the medical benefits of massage, combined with her compassion for others and intuition for healing, create a unique therapeutic balance.
She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University and continued her studies at Finger Lakes School of Massage.
Jayne enjoys learning and continuing to develop her skills to better serve her clients. As a Massage Therapist she uses a variety of techniques to cater to each individual's needs, including: deep tissue, swedish, trigger point, light stretching and mobilization.
Jayne’s focus is on deep tissue release, utilizing her knuckles, forearms and elbows when needed. While working with deep muscle tissue, Jayne believes in applying pressure slowly, thus minimising discomfort and allowing the body to relax. Treatments range from specific and focused work to chronic areas and injuries, to a complete full body massage to help reduce stress and tension.
Jayne is very passionate about bodywork and the wonderful effects it has on our bodies. She looks forward to designing a personal and customized session to benefit your specific needs! Jayne has experience working with all different body types and massage styles, ranging from medical massages post surgery on professional athletes to swedish massage with a light touch on your hard working over stressed stay-at-home moms!
Massage Therapy is becoming more accepted in the western world as preventative care and less as a luxury. Massage has a laundry list of incredible health benefits,we only get one body, let’s treat it right!
